A perfect holiday I would like to take in the future is a one-week island getaway to Phu Quoc. I would ideally go at the end of the dry season, when the weather is still sunny but the island is not at its busiest.

I have visited busy cities on many trips, so this time I would prefer somewhere calmer. Phu Quoc appeals to me because it has beaches, seafood, quiet roads and enough activities to keep the week interesting without creating a packed schedule. I would like to go with one close friend who also enjoys slow travel.

During the trip, I would spend the first few days swimming, walking along the coast and trying local food. I would also rent a scooter for one day and explore at my own pace, stopping at small beaches and cafés rather than rushing between famous attractions. Another thing I would love to do is take a short boat trip for snorkelling in crystal-clear water. In the evenings, I would simply eat well, watch the sunset and have long conversations with my travel companion.

This holiday sounds perfect because it would help me switch off without being boring. It would give me a real break from routine and feel like a once-in-a-lifetime trip while still being simple and realistic.

An activity I like doing when I am alone is taking a quiet walk while listening to a podcast. I usually do this two or three times a week, especially in the evening after a busy day.

I normally walk around a nearby park or along quieter streets close to home. I choose podcasts about simple topics such as travel, habits or everyday psychology. I do not listen to anything too serious because the main purpose is to relax rather than study.

The combination of walking and listening works well for me because it gives my body something gentle to do while my mind focuses on one idea. If a day has been stressful, the walk helps clear my thoughts without distractions from messages or work. Last week, I spent about forty minutes listening to a travel episode while walking through the park. By the time I returned home, I had completely stopped thinking about a problem that had bothered me earlier.

I like this activity because it gives me some me-time and breathing space. I usually feel calmer and more recharged afterwards. Being alone in this situation does not feel lonely; it feels like a useful pause before I return to other people and responsibilities.

The sport I most like watching is football. I do not follow every league or every team, but I enjoy important matches because they are easy to understand and usually have a strong sense of excitement.

I usually watch football at home through a live broadcast, sometimes with my brother or a few friends. The last match I watched was a national-team game a few weeks ago. We ordered some food and watched it together in the living room.

The match was especially enjoyable because the score stayed close for most of the game. One team scored first, but the other equalised in the second half, so the final twenty minutes became very fast-paced. Every attack felt important. My brother and I kept discussing possible substitutions and reacting to missed chances. A late goal changed the result only a few minutes before the final whistle, which kept me on the edge of my seat.

I like watching football because the game can change very quickly, even when nothing dramatic happens for a while. Supporting a team also makes the experience social. I enjoy the combination of simple rules, tension and shared reactions.

A sports match I found especially enjoyable was a badminton final I watched at a local sports centre last year. Two strong university players were competing, and I went with a friend who also plays badminton.

The venue was not huge, but the seats were close to the court, so we could hear the players' shoes, the shuttle and even short conversations with the coaches. I expected a good match, but I did not expect it to be so close.

The first player won the opening game quite comfortably. In the second, however, the other player became more aggressive and started controlling the long rallies. He won that game, so everything depended on the third. The score remained close until 18-18. Both players saved difficult points, and the crowd began to cheer loudly after every rally. One player even saved a match point before turning the game around and winning by only two points. The match really went down to the wire.

I enjoyed it because the players had different styles and neither gave up. Watching from such a close distance also made every movement feel more impressive. It was much more exciting than watching the same match on a screen.

A sport I both play and watch is badminton. I like it because the rules are simple, the equipment is affordable and a short game can still be quite energetic.

Badminton is very popular where I live. Several people in my family play it casually, and there are indoor courts in many neighbourhoods. It is also common for students and office workers because two or four people can play without needing a large team.

I usually play doubles once or twice a week at an indoor court near my home. Doubles is my favourite because it combines quick reflexes with teamwork. I am not highly skilled, but I can keep a rally going and understand basic positioning. Last weekend, my partner and I played against two friends for about an hour. The score was close, and by the final game all four of us had worked up a sweat. We laughed a lot even while trying seriously to win.

I feel refreshed after playing because badminton helps me keep active without feeling like a strict workout. The friendly competition also makes exercise more enjoyable. When I watch good players, I appreciate how fast and controlled the sport can be.
