Another sport I have watched but never tried is archery. I first saw it properly during an international sports event on television a few years ago.

I was watching at home with my cousin. At first, we only stopped on the channel because the event looked calm compared with faster sports. However, after a few minutes, we became interested in how precise every movement had to be.

The athletes stood very still, raised the bow slowly and seemed to control their breathing before releasing each arrow. From the camera angle, the target looked quite close, but the commentators explained that the distance was much greater than it appeared on screen. What surprised me most was how one tiny change in hand position could move an arrow away from the centre. The best competitors repeated the same movement again and again under pressure, which clearly required concentration and a steady hand.

I found the sport calm but intense at the same time. It seems much harder than it looks because success depends on small details rather than obvious speed or strength. I would be curious to try a beginner lesson, mainly to experience how difficult that level of control really is.

An article about healthy living that I found useful was about improving sleep quality. I read it on a health website about six months ago when I was having several nights of poor sleep.

The article argued that a good sleep routine depends less on one perfect trick and more on several small habits. It discussed consistent bedtimes, caffeine, exercise, bedroom temperature and screen time before sleep.

The most useful point was that going to bed and waking up at similar times can help the body develop a more stable rhythm. The article also suggested reducing bright screens for about thirty minutes before bed and avoiding strong coffee late in the day. I decided to test two ideas rather than changing everything at once. I moved my last coffee earlier and stopped watching short videos in bed. After a couple of weeks, I noticed that I fell asleep faster on most nights and felt less tired in the morning.

What I learnt is that healthy living does not always require dramatic changes. A small adjustment can pay off if it is realistic enough to continue. The article made me focus more on consistency than on searching for a quick solution.

A famous athlete I know is Novak Djokovic, one of the best-known tennis players in the world. I first heard about him through Grand Slam tournaments and later started watching more of his matches online.

He has competed at the highest level of tennis for many years and has won numerous major titles. Even people who do not follow tennis closely often recognise his name because he has been part of many important matches against other world-class players.

What stands out to me is not only the number of trophies but also his consistent performance over a very long period. He is known for moving extremely well, returning difficult serves and staying focused during long matches. I have watched several matches where he lost the first set but gradually changed tactics and came back strongly. That ability to handle pressure and continue competing after setbacks shows a very strong competitive spirit.

He is famous because his results place him among the greatest players in tennis history. He has also become a household name because of the long rivalries and major finals he has played. Even when I do not support him in a match, I respect his discipline and mental strength.

A time I took medicine was last winter when I had a sore throat, mild fever and a blocked nose. I had been feeling under the weather for about a day before deciding to do something about it.

My mother suggested an over-the-counter medicine that we already had at home, but before taking it I read the label carefully and checked that it was suitable for my symptoms. I also drank plenty of water and rested because the medicine was only meant to relieve symptoms rather than solve everything immediately.

I took the recommended dose in the evening and followed the instructions instead of taking extra medicine. Within a few hours, the fever became less uncomfortable and my throat felt a little better. The next morning, I still felt tired, so I stayed home, ate light food and continued resting. I only took another dose when the correct amount of time had passed. Over the next two days, I recovered gradually and did not need anything stronger.

I felt relieved because the medicine helped me rest more comfortably, but the experience also reminded me to be careful with medication. I think reading instructions and using only what is necessary is important, even for common illnesses.

A piece of technology I decided to stop using was a short-form social media app. I downloaded it about three years ago after several friends kept sending me funny clips from it.

At first, I used the app only for entertainment. The videos were short, easy to watch and often genuinely funny. I would open it during breaks or while waiting for something, and it seemed harmless because each video lasted only a few seconds.

The problem was that I gradually started scrolling endlessly without noticing the time. A ten-minute break could easily become forty minutes, especially at night. I also found it harder to concentrate on longer reading after using the app a lot. Eventually, I checked my screen-time report and was surprised by the total number of hours. I removed the app from my phone and decided not to reinstall it for at least a month. After the first week, the urge to open it became much weaker.

I feel good about the decision because I have more control over my free time. I still watch short videos occasionally on other platforms, but I no longer have the habit of opening that app automatically. Stopping helped me break the habit rather than simply trying to use more willpower.
